Our Telecommunications Audit service, focuses on reducing an organisation’s total spend with their service provider, by careful analysis of their existing usage and using detailed knowledge of wholesale settlement processes.

The service is specifically tailored to organisations that use 13, 1300 and 1800 inbound services with either a high volume of calls, a high volume spend, or both. Typical clients would include, call centres, taxi companies, utilities etc…

The Audit service comprises three stages -

Data Collection:

The client will need to provide the following data for a typical trading period. For some organisations this may be for a month, whilst organisations experiencing cyclical trading conditions this period may be up to one year.

  • Call origins
  • Call termination points
  • Call durations
  • Call volumes
  • Call charge rates on an individual basis
  • Current Primary Rate infrastructure.

    Analysis:

    Globe Telecom will analyse this data using detailed knowledge of

  • Carrier settlement agreements and processes.
  • Carrier pricing structures for call volume, call duration, call origin and call termination.
  • Service charges for registration and administration.
  • Call routing and infrastructure.


    Recommendation:

    Globe Telecom will deliver to the client a detailed report encompassing

  • Analysis of existing inbound traffic and assessment of current Answer Points and Call Routing, and recommendations for improvements where necessary.
  • Analysis of existing call pricing arrangements with regard to volume, duration and origin, and an assessment as to whether they require renegotiation.
  • Analysis of existing service charges, and an assessment as to whether they require renegotiation.
